I like so many performers' and types of music that I'd really be hard pressed to pick a favorite. But a local band that I like to catch is Danny Denaro & His Jumpin' Jukes! Specializing in jumpin' harmonica blues. I consider him to be a friend. I like his show, I enjoy the company of the musicians in his band, and if I'm lucky he will let me sit in. Danny was the promoter and Master of Ceremonies of The Big Blues Harmonica Blowout Jam, held April 25, 1995 at JJ's Blues Lounge in San Jose, CA. I gladly did the Artwork at the top of this page for that event. The music was "House Rockin'" that night, with all the local guy's blowin' their brains out. What a mess!!! I also got to blow my harps that night. and enjoyed it all very much... THANK YOU DANNY!!! Danny also is the publisher of the... Blues Pages a small local S.F. Bay/Montery Bay Area blues rag. He also publishes the...Blues Radio Handbook. A great little guide for picking up the blues radio program's in the S.F. Bay/Monterey Bay Area's
